About Christie Mikell, PsyD
Hi, I’m Christie — a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience walking alongside individuals and families through life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions.
I began my career in community mental health and residential settings supporting children and families, later specializing in maternal mental health, including pregnancy, infertility, and postpartum mood disorders.
My current work centers on guiding clients through deep inner healing and self-discovery. I support those navigating complex trauma, attachment wounds, toxic family dynamics, and spiritual or religious deconstruction. I often incorporate spirituality into the therapy process, helping clients reconnect with their intuition, reclaim their inner power, and align more fully with their authentic selves.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband and daughter. I’m also active in my church community, and I enjoy traveling, cheering on the Detroit Lions, exploring new restaurants, and getting lost in a good book.
I proudly stand with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community.
